Routines

Work that gets done on time, without you

Hand repeating work to an agent: every Monday morning, when a brief comes out, when an email arrives. It does the work on its own and posts the result in its chat.

What it does

  • On time, or when something happens

Run on a schedule, or when a watch publishes, a feed posts, an email reaches your agent, a webhook is called or something happens in a connected app.

  • Quiet when there's nothing to say

Give it a condition like “only if the price drops below 50”. When it isn't met, the run ends without a message, and it remembers what it saw last time.

  • The same rules as a chat

What can be undone just happens; sending and other actions go through the auto-review, and a payment always asks you.

How people use it

How it works

  1. Say it, or fill it in

Say it in a chat, or create one on an agent's profile page: a schedule, a trigger, or a description in your own words.

  2. Choose where results go

The agent's chat by default, or a group, plus email, a document, Telegram or Slack.

  3. Check each run

The run history shows what happened and what it made, and you can undo it.

Try saying

Select one and it's waiting in the message box, ready to send.

Questions

How is a routine different from a watch?
A watch writes a brief that you read and others can follow. A routine does one thing when its moment comes, whatever your instruction says, and can use watches as input.
How many routines can I have?
Free has 3, Personal 20 and Pro 50, across all your agents. Routines that come with an app don't count.
What does a run cost?
Credits for what it actually uses. A single action expected to cost more than 600 credits asks you first.
What if a run fails?
It's tried again at the next check. After 3 runs in a row that don't work, the routine pauses itself and tells you.
