Terms of Service (draft)

These terms govern your use of waper (the website at waper.ai, sites published on waper.page, the MCP endpoint and related services). By creating an account or using waper you agree to them.

1. What waper does

waper follows watches you choose, collects public information from sources it selects and verifies, and writes short daily briefs, weekly reports, answers and research reports with links to those sources. Parts of the service are generated by AI models.

2. Your account

• You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Keep your password and API keys private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One free trial per person. Creating multiple accounts to get more trials or quota is not allowed.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use waper to break the law, infringe others' rights, or harass anyone;
• publish illegal, deceptive, hateful or sexually explicit content on waper.page;
• try to access other users' data, bypass limits or security controls, or overload the service;
• resell or redistribute waper's output at scale, or use automated means to scrape waper beyond the documented API and MCP tools.

We may suspend accounts or sites that break these rules.

4. AI-generated content

Briefs, answers, reports and suggestions are produced with AI and can be incomplete or wrong. They are not professional advice (financial, legal, medical or otherwise). Always check the linked sources before relying on anything important.

5. Sources and copyright

waper links to the original publishers and quotes only short excerpts. Original articles belong to their publishers. For videos and podcasts, waper keeps a transcript as evidence of what was said; public pages on waper.page show only summaries and short quotes, never full transcripts. If you are a rights holder and want us to stop using a source or remove content, write to abuse@waper.ai; we will act promptly.

6. Your content

You keep the rights to what you write (notes, questions, published pages). Only upload audio or video you have the right to use; uploaded files are processed by the speech recognition providers listed in the Privacy Policy and deleted within 12 hours. You give us permission to store, process and display it to provide the service, including showing published pages publicly on waper.page. Private watches, notes and questions are visible only to you.

7. Plans, trials and payment

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record; Creem's terms apply to the payment itself.
• Your first watch starts a 7-day trial of Pro. No card is needed and it ends automatically.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing page; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow Creem's refund policy and applicable law.
• Plan limits (watches, questions, research) are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.

8. Changes and availability

We are improving waper continuously and may add, change or remove features. We will give notice before material changes to these terms or to paid features. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms. When an account is deleted, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

waper is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
