Teach it once, and it does it your way
A skill is how a kind of task is done: the steps, what the result looks like and the rules to follow. Your agent picks the right one when it fits, or you choose one by name.
What it does
Used when it fits
When what you ask matches a skill, your agent uses it and the chat shows which one. Questions and small talk need no skill.
Ready-made skills
Research reports, a competitor weekly, newsletter issues, paper and earnings quick reads, meeting notes to actions, rewrites for social media.
Your own way of working
Describe how you want something done, or say “save how we just did this as a skill”. Next time it does it that way.
How people use it
DelaMeeting notes to follow-upsUsing the notes from this afternoon's meeting and the earlier emails, write short follow-up emails and leave them in my drafts.
MiruResearch with sourcesI have two offers: Snowflake with RSUs, Databricks with options. Using Snowflake's share price over the past year and Databricks' public funding valuations, estimate what each might be worth in four years, and spell out the risks.
How it works
Let it pick, or choose one
Your agent uses a skill when it fits. To choose, pick Use a skill from + in the message box, or type / at the start.
Write your own
Ask in a chat, save what just worked, or upload a SKILL.md from another tool.
Edit or turn it off
Change a skill's steps in the same editor as documents, hide one you don't want, or delete your own.
Try saying
Select one and it's waiting in the message box, ready to send.
Questions
- Does using a skill cost extra?
- No. The turn spends credits for the model as usual.
- Can I bring skills from other tools?
- Yes. Skills follow the open Agent Skills standard, so you can upload a SKILL.md you used elsewhere.
- Can a skill let my agent do more?
- No. Skills carry no permissions of their own: sending, deleting and running commands follow the usual approval rules.
- How many skills can I have?
- Up to 50 of your own, each SKILL.md up to 64 KB.
